About
I have spent the last 16-plus years helping organisations make better decisions with data. My career has taken me from hands-on analysis to leading enterprise analytics functions, and the thread that connects it all is a belief that data only matters when it changes how people act.
Today I lead analytics teams that sit at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution. I care deeply about building environments where analysts can do their best work, where data literacy spreads beyond the data team, and where AI investments are grounded in real business problems rather than hype.
Before moving into leadership, I spent years as a consultant delivering analytics projects across banking, retail, and telecom. That experience taught me how to translate between the language of data and the language of the business, a skill I consider more valuable than any single technical capability.
Philosophy
I believe the best analytics leaders are translators. The hardest part of data work is rarely the technical challenge; it is framing the right question, communicating the answer in a way that drives action, and building trust with stakeholders who have been burned by data projects before.
I also believe that AI transformation is a leadership challenge, not a technology challenge. The organisations that will win are the ones that pair technical capability with clear-eyed thinking about where AI genuinely adds value and where it does not.
What Makes Me Different
Commercial
Managed $500M+ portfolios, influenced C-suite, drove P&L impact across banking, retail, and aviation.
Technical
Built platforms, deployed 20+ ML models, designed data architectures serving millions of decisions.
Frontier
Early GenAI adopter — bridging traditional analytics with AI transformation through LLMs, RAG, and agent systems.
What I Am Working On
Building thought leadership at the intersection of analytics strategy and AI transformation — writing frameworks, developing tools, and exploring frontier AI applications for enterprise analytics.
Writing more regularly — both long-form essays on data leadership and technical deep-dives on GenAI, RAG architectures, and agent systems. This website is part of that effort.
Mentoring a small cohort of early-career analysts making the jump from individual contributor to people leadership. Conversations about influence, communication, and letting go of the keyboard.
